28 August 2006 – Toyama

First time I saw real sunflowers growing from the soil

Too tired and do not want to wake up. Missed the earliertrain that go to Toyama. Luckily I managed to board 9.57am rapid train at Nagoya that go straight to Toyama.

The scenery along the way was beautiful. But coz managed tocatch some sleep, did not notice that much

Reached Toyama around 1.28pm. This place is much hotterthan Nagoya. No wind at all!

Went to Iwase by the light monorail. A new line introduced early this year or last year. Nothing much to see. Missed the Shirobi Matsuri - white prawn festival which ended at3pm today.

Came back and did some shopping of groceries. Ate the white prawn for dinner. It was delicious!

Watched the last part of 24 hour tv, a charity show which last 24 hours, this year hosted by Kat-tun. By the way,when I just reached toyama, there is this group of TV volunteers asking for donations for the 24 hour tv. So Idonated 500yen. Alot ok, in spore I do not donate that much. The total donations for this show was more than 2million. So my 500 yen was part of it. haha

Gota catch my sleep and wake up early tomorrow.
