30 December 2005 - Kinki Kids concert ~ Have A Nice Day

Met 中山さん and wife for lunch at 新宿. Found myway to Kinokuniya while Perina went to 池袋herself. 新宿 is a rather messy place, too many different types ofpeople. Kind of admire myself for being able to find my wayaround just using a simple map.

Reached Tokyo Dome around 4pm. Queue for the concert goods.Then waited more than an hour for toilet! Can’t believe it!The queue was like from the staircase down to next floor.Was about to be my turn when the concert started at5.30sharp. Damn shit! First time I missed the opening ofthe concert. Kinki started singing “Snow! Snow! Snow!” At that moment, all the females at the toilet scream. Everybody rushed like mad to the toilet. Saw fans coming out from the toilet and ran, while trying to zip up the zips and buckle their belts. Very funny moment.

I rushed out and managed to get the staff to help me to search for our seats. Oh my gosh, it was at first level above arena. Quite near! 光一くん was at the big cart, moving around to our direction. I can’t control and shouted “Near!” to Perina. I do not have that luck with Masha’s concerts!

The stage was beautiful. It was all in white, kind of mountain shape. The lightings and sound system were superb.Johnny concerts are really worth watching. S’pore concerts will never have that effect.

Kinki sang all the new songsfrom their new album. The theme for this year concert is HaveA Nice Day - first alpha make up of HAND, their new album theme.

Their talks were funny. 1st MC was about toilet. They can talk non stop for this topic. 剛くん said while he was peeing, 光一くん came in and mumbled, and went straight tothe cubicle to pee. 剛くん cannot understand why 光一くん can’t stand to pee and must go to the cubicle. Haha! When 光一くん asked who attended their concert for the first time, audiences raised their hands. He then said that they do not always talk about such topic. Trying toprotect their image. Keke.

During 2nd MC, they talked non stop for about 20min or more? Abt what they ate at Osaka, during concert etc.Really admire the way they talked.. superb

光一くん mentioned “Oh Baby!” during the MC. Fans of course responded. From there, 光一くん will mentioned “Baby!” in his talks. He is not as humorous as 剛くん, but still is a joker.

There were times when both of them stand on the moving stages and move around the arena. It was nice. We can see them from binoculars when they approached us. I am very happy to be able to see both of them. Good that I have such luck with V6 and them!

During end of 1st encore, the main stage became a waterfall. it was beautiful! I finally saw such scene inthe concert! Really admire the way they did the stage! We have the 2nd encore, coz all the audiences shouted encores again.

The whole concert last around 2.5 hrs.The feeling is different from last year. Kinki has improved and there were changes. Felt like there are surprises each year! It is good to attend their concert.

By the way, 剛くん has gained weight again! Sigh.. His dance moves were not as much and good as 光一くん. There was one scene where they talked about how MA (the Johnny group that is their dancers at the concert) did the somersaults, 光一くん suddenly put his hand together, and asked 剛くん to run to him and do the somersault (光一くん to push 剛くん so that he can do the somersault). 剛くん ran and pretend to slip. He started blaming the floor for being slippery. Haha!

31 Dec is the Johnny’s countdown concert. Looking forward tothe concert and to see Masha!
