High School Musical on ice
I watched High School Musical on ice at Expo on National Day.
It was the first time I watched Disney on ice show. I was a bit disappointed when the cast did not sing. They just played the singing and talking from the show. But I was impressed by the cast’s skating skills. It’s the first time I saw some skate. Skating looks fun.
I enjoyed the musical and sang along with the cast. My seat was only about 5 rows away from the skiing ring. Very close and I could see their faces and expressions. There was a guy who is handsome, not the main lead. (^^)
The thing I could not stand was that the audience kept quiet when the cast asked us to clap or sing along. Worse still, some were late and walked in when the show started almost 10minutes. Some just left their seats when it was almost end of the show. So rude! I really can’t understand why are Singaporeans so kiasu. I have been to Japan and know that some even stayed 2 hours or more away from the concert hall. Yet they stayed throughout the concert and take a train home. I can understand that people want to rush home, but please spare a thought for the performers. They have spent so much effort in putting up a good performance and it is only once in a blue moon that they are in town for a performance (or they may not even be here again).
