羞恥心

My history with 羞恥心(shu chi shin):

Sometime in March 2008

- I noticed a guy called 上地雄輔. His blog is ranked first in Ameba. My first impression of him - his look is normal and he gives me a feeling that he is someone who play 野球 (yes, he was one of the top baseball players in his hometown during his school days).

Around April/May 2008

- I started to know of this group called 羞恥心. The first time I watched their PV 羞恥心, I was like "Er, why do they sing such song and dress in such way? Just like Johnny's artists." So I didn't really pay much attention to their PV. But 上地くん　caught my attention as I can recognise him.

May/early June 2008

- Ok ok, I started to read 上地くん's blog. I find his blog interesting and started to check more about 羞恥心 and watched 『ヘキサゴンII』 (Hexagon 2). From there, I started to like 羞恥心.

The reason why the group name 羞恥心 was interesting. 上地くん read 羞恥心 wrongly as 「さじしん」 (sha ji shin) on 1 Aug 2007 『ヘキサゴンII』 (it is a quiz program) and the 3 of them was named by the host 島田 紳助（しまだ しんすけ). So they were called 羞恥心 since then.

The 3 of them are:

「羞（しゅう）」 - つるの剛士（つるの たけし Tsuruno Takeshi 1975年5月26日 )

「恥（ち）」 - 野久保直樹（のくぼ なおき Nokubo Naoki 1981年5月14日 )

「心（しん）」 - 上地雄輔（かみじ ゆうすけ Kamiji Yusuke 1979年4月18日 )

羞恥心 is promoted as 平成少年隊. They are so called idols. Yet, they are at the same time named as おバカキャラー (stupid character) due to their images (unable to answer quizzes) in 『ヘキサゴンII』.

I don't think they are バカ. They are smart and have their own charisma. When the three appear together, there is a kind of chemistry between them. I guess these are the reasons why I like them. My favorite is 上地くん. I like つるの too.

No one knows how long 羞恥心 fever will continue. I'm not sure if I will really support 羞恥心 for long. At least for now, I am supporting 羞恥心.
