深浦 加奈子さん （ ふかうら かなこ)

I am surprised and sorry to hear that 深浦加奈子さん　has passed away on 25 Aug at the age of 48. Cause of her death - cancer.

Read from report and knew that 深浦さん was diagnosed of intestine cancer 5 years ago. Since then she had been fighting against this cruel illness. This March the cancer cells spread to her other parts of body like lung. But her love for work was so strong that she even acted in a stage play in Feb and be a narrator for the Hiroshima bomb special programme in July.

It seemed that she did not disclose her illness to any staff. Probably she did not want them to worry.

I can't recall when I noticed 深浦さん 's presence. But I know she was a good actress, always played her role well. Even though it may be a small role. The deep impression she gave me was a photo of her brushing her eyelashes with the mascara. This photo was taken by Masha, during the time when they filmed 『美女か野獣』（びじょかやじゅう）.

It is indeed a deep regret to the Japan entertainment scene, and to us viewers that such a good actress is gone.
