SP (エスピー)
My part time job is to be a SP (エスピー). Nope, not Security Police but Simulated Patient. (^-^)
"Simulate" means:
1: to give or assume the appearance or effect of often with the intent to deceive
2 : to make a simulation of (as a physical system)
(extracted from Merriam-Webster's Online dictionary)
Yes, I act as a patient. I started this part time since last year. It is not easy to be an SP. I have to memorise scripts and behave consistently throughout. It is fun but it can be tiring as I have to repeat myself so many times. I have to stay alert to response accordingly. At times I will feel so tired that I don't know what I am talking about.
My job assignments are only a few times in a year. Although the pay is not really fantastic, I will still continue with this SP part-time job. It's fun to do it once in a while. Also to earn some extra pocket money.
